Gary Null’s book Aging Is Inevitable-How We Grow Old Is Our Choice is a masterpiece. I look forward to a new future where aging will not be inevitable for longer life. Gary Null’s latest book exposes a harsh reality, i.e., most Americans are following toxic lifestyles and dietary practices that are underlying causes of premature aging, disease, and death. For those familiar with healthy living, Gary’s book reenforces what we know about delaying/preventing the onset of degenerative processes. For the novice, Gary’s book provides comprehensive guidance to radically improve chronic health conditions while reducing risks of our most feared diseases.

The human life expectancy in neolithic times was in the early 20’s. In Ancient Greece it was 25 years of age, and in France in the 1700’s it was 28. It has only been in the last 150 to 200 years that the life expectancy of women exceeded 40 years of age. We have never had to deal with the issues of aging like we do today, and in a poisoned world.
So, once we hit the age of 40, Nature basically says – congrats but you are on your own now, I don’t have your back. What this means is we have to consciously look after our own bodies if we want to remain functional. A Gary says, in so many words, aging is inevitable but being an old man or an old woman is not. It is a job, but the alternative is to live a compromised and truncated life.
Gary’s book provides and lays out a comprehensive foundation on how to start doing the job of staying healthy and as functional as possible as we age. The goal is to die healthy of old age. Longevity isn’t always up to us, but one can remain sharp, energetic and highly functional right up to whenever it is we are called home. If one is willing to educate oneself and do the work, it is possible to be healthier in one’s 70’s than most are in their 20’s.

Gary Null has done it again. Hit the ball out of the park. His expertise on the subject of health and healthy aging shines through in his latest book again Aging Is Inevitable-How We Grow Old Is Our Choice, but with particular focus on the idea of healthy aging and longevity. With meticulous review of the way the body—and mind—can go out of balance over time, he offers practical solutions to bring both back into harmony in a way that anyway can understand and everyone can practice. Gary is a ‘one of a kind’, an exemplar of healthy living and smart thinking, of which this book is yet another example in a whole lifetime of them. I’ve been part of Gary’s faculty and team through the years and I’ve watched him practice what he preaches, and now, some of these highlights are codified in the “must-read” book for graceful and healthy aging.
